Advanced Laboratory Testing Ltd (ALT) was established in Newbridge, County Kildare in 2013 to provide for the first time, a full range of indigenous laboratory testing services to the food industry in Ireland. In 2017, due to continual increased demand ALT also open a dedicated Food and Environmental Chemistry Laboratory in Naas, Co. Kildare.
ALT is a privately owned company, strategically located, with a management team of unrivalled experience in Ireland and a dedicated commitment to providing testing services of the highest quality by working in partnership with its customers to ensure that their expectations are met on a continual basis throughout the island of Ireland.
We continually strive to improve the range and scope of accreditations and approvals by investing in the most up to date methodologies and technologies, all based on the international laboratory accreditation standard ISO/IEC 17025:2005.

We are committed to continual expansion and investment in new technologies, and instrumentation which will allow us to expand our scope of INAB accreditation and approvals in conjunction with customer demand. An example of this commitment include our advances in 24 hr turnaround for key pathogenic bacteria such as Listeria and Salmonella as well as the introduction of accredited Nutritional Chemistry and Allergen testing services on the island of Ireland for the first time.

As part of Institut Mérieux, Mérieux NutriSciences offers analytical and product development solutions to prevent health risks related to food and more generally to the use of everyday consumer products. The company also offers digital solutions as part of its dedicated business unit.
