Advanced Laboratory Testing Ltd (ALT) announces new testing facilities in Naas, Co. Kildare.

ALT, based in Newbridge, Co. Kildare is pleased to announce the opening of new accredited laboratory facilities in Naas, Co. Kildare. ALT has recently completed the construction of a world class laboratory facilities in M7 Business Park, Naas, Co. Kildare. These new facilities have allowed ALT to transfer its Nutritional Chemistry, Environmental Chemistry and Veterinary testing divisions to Naas and also, significantly increase the capacity of these divisions. This strategic move also frees up laboratory space in its existing site in Newbridge Co. Kildare. This move will allow for further significant expansion of its Microbiology testing division which will now operate exclusively from Newbridge and become a dedicated Microbiology center of excellence to further enhance the level of services that ALT can provide to its customer network on the island of Ireland.

Billy Coleman, Managing Director of ALT said today “These are exciting times in ALT and we are delighted to open a second testing facility to meet our business plan objectives. This bold move allows us to substantially increase capacity across all our testing divisions and also allows us to bring more and more accredited testing services to the commercial market place. ALT, based in Newbridge, Co. Kildare is pleased to announce new accreditations in Nutritional Chemistry. These new testing services are a first on the island of Ireland and will be considerable assistance to customers in terms of service level improvement and reduced turnaround times

The new Nutritional accreditations include the following matrices:

– Soups, Broths and Sauces
– Fish, Shellfish and Molluscs
– Fruit and Vegetables
– Pet Foods

The new Nutritional accreditations include Meat Content and Added Water which is a first for these testing services on the island of Ireland

A wholly Irish owned company, ALT is pleased to announce that as part of its continuing commitment to offer market leading services to the Irish Food Industry, it has recently secured new accreditations to offer rapid 24hr testing for Salmonella, Listeria and STEC using the latest PCR technologies. ALT is at present the only commercial laboratory in Ireland offering these accredited PCR based rapid testing solutions.

ALT Announce Full Group 2 Nutritional Testing on site in Newbridge

We are delighted to announce Full Group 2 Nutritional Analysis is now being tested.

ALT are the first laboratory in Ireland to offer fully accredited Nutritional Testing services In-house to the Food Industry on the island of Ireland.

These new service offerings will enable ALT to provide additional support services to the Irish food industry and assist them in complying with EU labelling regulation (EU) No 1169/2011 in
several ways including

  1. By offering these testing services indigenously in Ireland, ALT can offer much reduced turnaround times by avoiding the existing need to subcontract Nutritional samples to the UK and mainland Europe.
  2. Customers now have direct access to laboratory personnel which will result in significant improvement in the communication and understanding of results thus assisting customers with both on going and new product development (NPD) testing requirements.
